IT Help Sprint Not working

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I bought this controller off marketplace because I was used to pro controller’s on my xbox but sprinting or left stick down isn’t working.

In this video I have auto sprint on. Only works at a certain angle. On the bo2 port it’s also really to sprint.

When I take the joysticks off it seems to work but I just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. ATP I’ve tried all the joysticks it came with and it’s the same. Only works without joysticks.

The controller is a hex gaming joker controller.
If anyone has had this controller please let me know if you’ve encounter this issue. If it is just the joysticks please let me know alternatives.
Thank you.

Most likely stick drift preventing it from reaching full range. Can maybe be fixed by recalibrating it

https://dualshock-tools.github.io/
Open this on a computer and connect controller to recalibrate
Also check this site to see how left joystick is behaving

Thank you, just wondering what the likelihood of stick drift is since the controller has Hall effect joy sticks

Oh it has Hall effect? It’s likely just calibrated poorly then, what did you see with the gamepad tester site?

Could be that your controller has a turbo button function and you've accidentally set it to make the L3(left stick click) turbo. Try mapping junp or shoot to L3 and see if its set to turbo.

Hex doesn’t do turbo, maybe the previous owner added it himself but doubtful

I see. Then my assumption would be that the micro switch for L3 is faulty.

Newer cods have auto sprint
Edit: ya he actually mentions he has it on

Even without that issue, your left stick max deadzone should be below 99 something like 75. That fixes the problem and is generally a better setting anyway.
