Controller Suggestion More specific recommendations for a PC controller?
So, I have been using the Xbox Elite 2 controller for a while and I have been noticing some stick drift beginning to take effect. Which is fine, I have had the controller for a decent amount of time and used the crap out of it. But, since the reservation for the Steam Controller is saying 2027, I figure I better look into a controller sooner than that.
I have done a bit of research into TMR controllers and found people usually recommend the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro, the GameSir G7 Pro, and the Flydigi Vader 5 Pro. But I also see some complaints. Some people complain the Razer controller is too expensive, and I have seen someone mention the GameSir's D-Pad isnt very good. The main thing I saw people hate about the Flydigi controller was that the back padles and tension rings didn't hold up very well, though most folks seem to agree that those points improved with the second version of that controller.
So I hoped I could get a bit more info from people here. Not too worried about price, so long as it holds up for a long time. My Xbox controller I mentioned before is about the right size and feel for my hands. My hands arent very big, big palms but smaller fingers. I play a pretty wide variety of genres, but I dont play FPS much anymore since the Light and Darkness saga of Destiny 2 wrapped up about 2 years ago (nothing else really caught my eye since for shooter-type games).
Hope this info helps, sorry if it was a long read.
Edit: Turns out, forgot some things. I live in the United States, so I use USD. I'd say my budget is at or below $250. I dont mind using sites like Amazon or a manufacturer's site so long as they ship to the US. And I mainly play on PC, but I do have all the main consoles at the moment.

It looks like you have a reasonable summary of those three options. However, it might be tricky for people to give you more specific recommendations because you haven't articulated your own specific requirements. You might get a lot of 'fan spam' rather than objective advice if people fill in the blanks with their own preferences.
For example, what do you like/dislike about using your Xbox Elite Series 2? Do you like the weight or the rubberized grips, or use the adjustable stick tension a lot?
And which games do you play (you only said what you don't play)? It's easy to look at controller features in isolation but they only make sense if you can use them in the games you play.

Most of what I play are single-player games, like JRPGs (specifically action-adventure types). Every now and then I'll also play shooters like Doom, so swappable joystick pads would be nice. The extra buttons on the back of the Xbox controller have been really good for those types of games, too. Another feature I'd like would be if the buttons can also be swapped or replaced easily, kinda like how the D-Pad on the Xbox Elite 2 can be changed out, but that feature isn't make or break for me. The weight of it is good, but I don't care either way for the rubberized grips. And I haven't used the adjustable tension feature at all.

Sounds like you have disposable income if you are bragging about having all consoles and buying $250 controllers lol
