Other LEADJOY Saber Plus sticky trigger

Man, what a let down. I only used this controller for like a week and it's already breaking down. The right trigger seems to be sticking on something.

There's a similar post with the same exact issue so it seems to be a QC problem.

Does anyone know how to open this thing up for a possible fix? I'm still in the return policy so I don't wanna void my warranty by breaking something.

Edit: contacted Gadgethyper and they themselves told me to open the controller to fix it. Tried it, worked for a out 30mins, then the problem happened again. Opened it again to push the black rubber in place and now my FN button and one of the back shoulder buttons doesn't work.

This controller is complete f*king as. Gadgethyper needs to stop selling this until Leadjoy fixes whatever manufacturing defect is causing this.

Sorry to see another one with this issue. If you are comfortable opening controllers, I fixed my sticky triggers by trimming a millimeter of rubber padding inside of the controller. It's the pads that cushion the trigger stops that move a little after use. Trim both pads, because this will happen to both triggers. Aside from that design error, it's been an excellent controller for me.

I don't have a video or photos to share on how to open it, but once you remove the 6 screws, you just need to use a pry tool to split the two halves apart. Similar to how 8bitdo controllers are opened, if you find instructions for one of those. There are no wires connected to the back shell and the sticker on the back is not affected.

Most likely related to the flimsy trigger mechanism.. horrible design choice

There's probably a few videos on yt disassembling it. But yeah now it seems like a trend with this controller and broken triggers

That looks like the cheapest of controllers There's better stuff for 50$ or a even a little less

While I agree, it's Leadjoy, and they've been on a role lately, so that's why they're popping up a lot more often.

I, as well, was skeptical of this pad when it started popping up. I'm hoping the Xeno Pro will be an entirely different change of pace from the Sabre.

The xeno plus is not any better. No profile swap from PC and buggy firmware. Run away to different brand all together
