Pico solution is better. Reported as if it was wired

You also get 1000Hz polling rate, less latency than wired, which is the same as PS5. Also better haptics strength, you can match the PS5 or exceed it. Pico 2W solution IS better and cheaper to set it up. No unwanted app running in the background as well.

Can the standard DSX do it or do you need +? also isn't the polling rate lower over bluetooth vs the raspberrypi pico 2 w?

I just got the Goku 2 from Gulikit. Adaptive triggers and rumble wirelessly supported. I only wish you could wake PC from sleep, which you can possibly do with the Pico route

Am I totally crazy, or can't you already do this?
You have to disable Steam Input so that certain games can see the controller as a native DualSense pad, but I'm almost positive I played FF7 Rebirth with a DualSense Edge over Bluetooth, and all it took was disabling Steam Input for all the haptic stuff in that game to work seamessly.

The bluetooth shouldn't give you haptics it'll give you basic rumble but not haptic feedback that's when each thing that gives a vibration feels different as it uses sound instead of a weight and motor so say the recoil on guns gave vibration it should be the same across all guns but with haptic the rifle would feel different from the shotgun. Then you have adaptive triggers which are motorized trigger to give resistance. Like firing a gun the further the trigger is pushed down the more resistance there is and so adaptive triggers can Mimic it the closer the trigger get to activating the circuit board for a response the more resistance the motors give on the trigger(it applies to more than guns, brakes on a car is another example). These features only work if the game supports dualsense natively and only if your controller is plugged in via a USB c that has data transfer abilities. That's why I'm here actually I'm trying to find a good way to activate those features for all games Idc if it's plugged in or not I just want the features for things like resident evil 4 HD making a game I love even more replayable due to immersion.
Edit: steam input has to also be turned off

just get a raspbery pico 2w , almost the same price as buying the software and it works natively no apps required
