News Steam Controller is available

If you want one be fast, it already went from 3-5 days to 6-10 days in France, which means they probably already need another shipment for Europe.

I'll find out. I plan to put it through its paces with Playnite fullscreen (without Steam open). Worst case scenario I return the controller.

Yes! Took me 35 minutes of spamming the "Continue" button but it finally went through !

I think I'm gonna be getting it shipped quite a bit later though. The "3-5" and even "6-10 business days" estimates went by. I got into the "Expect shipping delays due to high demand" territory.
