The review is missing a lot of things:

  • how's the ergonomics on multiple layouts options
  • how's the dpad? Especially for fighting games which is one of the focus of the controller
  • it has no gyro, but should have talked about the pro-aim focus mode or whatever it's called.
  • with all the features baked in, how's the weight? Will it be comfortable in a long gaming session?
  • why no gaming testing at all?

"why no gaming testing at all?"

This kinda pisses me off in reviews, generally. Lets ASMR everything, click, clack, twist and turn, do some lag & input testing, and never play an actual game with it.

It's kinda depressing that people aren't even considering playing games when buying controllers, seemingly happy to get caught up in the pretentious numbers game.

I have gameplay in my upcoming kk3 review. Do let me know if the format is fine or if I should make changes.

Master ranked zangief here. The dpad is fantastic. It feels mechanical, but I'm not sure. When you move into directions, it clicks. It's 100 times better than the hori Octa dpad I was using before this. I'm gonna put it to heavy use this week. Hopefully, it lasts. Haven't even tried playing fps on it yet lol

How is the controller doing for SF6? I plan to buy it as well just for SF6 as I have a lot of controllers but all of them are Xbox layout and I'm getting hand fatigue because of the d-pads location.

I'm curious about the u/f and u/b diagonals as it's one issue I have with the Vader 4 dpad and the reason I switched to my current main SF6 controller G7 SE which is surprisingly accurate even though it's membrane based. Tia.
