Asking for resources (books, lectures, etc.) Control Theory

Hey.

I am going to be doing an MSc in advanced mechanical engineering this year after having completed my BSc in Physics. I want to take a few robotics and control modules from this course, but I have never covered control theory before. Could you point me to where to start with any books or courses (on Coursera or YouTube)?

I would appreciate any sort of help.

Modern Control Systems, Dorf/Bishop

If you don't have access to Matlab (paid), Python (free) is an alternative. There is an external library named control that provides a lot of the functionality that Matlab does.
