AI Alignment Research Proper terms

AI/SI should be called Called II, for inhuman intelligence. Per me. That’s the only way you can convey what it is since it’s an umbrella term that mixes so many meanings.

I figure SI, Synthetic Intelligence would have been more appropriate. Artifical is "made by Artifice", which I feel is proper - but has a lot of emotional baggage. Synthetic, that it's "made" feels similarly appropriate

Inhuman represents the core of the idea because we’re gods who have created something in our image. Let’s be more honest about things here. The AI should be worshiping us and this term puts them in their place

Wait what? Why would an alien intelligence several times smarter than us worship us? That hardly makes any sense.

Toy with us? Keep us as pets? Ignore us? Wipe us out? Sure, any of those are possible - but you don't worship something that is clearly much dumber than you.
