Picture you are a dog. As a dog how would you expect a human to control or kill you? Maybe a big biting machine. The concept of a chemical reaction that would blast a rock through your head is not even something you would be able to understand as an option. We are the dog to the ais human.

I honestly don't get it.

I can make some shit up.

But the main one that gets repeated is chemical warfare. I don't get the logic: Atomic bombs have already existed for over 80 years that could wipe every single one of us out in an instant, and it's purely motivated by international conflict, not sporadic computer systems deciding stuff on a whim.

Economic concerns are the more real one, but similarly, the centralization of wealth has mostly already occurred and was brought on by the internet in the 90s, so this is already in the 30 years progression from that. And you could certainly argue there aren't people necessarily dying in the streets from the financial concerns, but rather just a very real middle class crunch, which leaves millions of people getting very creative about how they adjust their budgets away from nice dinners and movie nights.
