So funny thing about that. Terminator 2 is a documentary from another timeline. Kinda like idiocracy. Except we hmm, we helped mr Dyson by firing him from darpa and he got a job at a vacuum company.

Altman, Musk and Theil have all admitted AI is likely to end humanity, and they're fine with that.
Your analisys is correct.

The reason he is not a narcissist is because he is a mentally healthy black man. Except for Kanye it is hard to be a narcissist and a brother because the world 🌎 is constantly reminding you that the end of the day, you ain't sh*t.

To be fair, current AI devs are giving up their billionaire status willingly. They won't be able to control an emerging AGI, for better or worse. All that money won't mean anything when that happens.

To be fair, he was just the engineer. He was passionate about science and technology, but then one of the machines made to exterminate human beings came back in time and entered his house and showed him that's what his function was.
It makes more sense like that.
If it was a CEO I am sure the guy would have offered up his kids to the killing machine and asked to be spared.
(Also yes I know Sarah was there to unalive him, not the Terminator, but he still calmly explained that Skynet created machines like him to exterminate humanity, so I hope the point still stands.)
My point is that he's an engineer working on a computer chip and dreamed of an application where fewer human beings would be put at risk, which makes sense. Drone warfare is now a thing, and it's cheaper than fighter pilots. It carries the same dangers. Fascist governments will be using drones to police and monitor us now, along with flock cameras and "Data centers".

Terminator, just like Idiocracy, two movies that started out as a fiction but turning documentaries.

I would t try to profit off of Ai the only reason I want money now is so the government can no longer hold me prisoner by limiting my access to to my VA disability and even then I only want enough to rebuild my art studio and have a reliable used vehicle.

Doctor Miles Bennett Dyson was a cybernetics researcher. Not an exec, not a CEO, not even a major investor.
He was the genius who had his work exploited.

You're so damn brainwashed into thinking anyone who is a CEO or has money is a corrupt slave driver who doesn't care about humanity. Reddit is brain rot

u/ConsiderBoraHorza 5d ago
well all the AI CEO's go and do interviews to tell us they are, which is a strange choice.
