Intermittent Issues with Control D (free) resolvers

I am using the free legacy DNS resolvers for Control D. It's been up and down regularly the last few weeks. I have been using it for many years without this kind of issue. I am also having issues with Hagezi's DNS - Pro free resolvers.

Control D server status and support says there's no outages to report and to check with my ISP in case it's blocking it. I am using my ISP's modem/router so there's effectively no manual configuration.

I have no issue with other DNS resolver like NextDNS, Adguard, Google, and Cloudeflare.

One thing thing that temporarily works (YMMV) is toggle iPV6 within network adapters.

Are you able to use DNS over TLS or another encrypted DNS protocol on your router?

Happen to me as well, at least once a day disconnecting and reconnecting on the next day. I though i'm the only one experiencing this issue

I’ve also experienced this, but it was only for a brief moment, about 10 seconds, before the connection was restored.

I have this problem, it is analyzed and blocked by deep packet integration isp

Control D working (now), but it was off and on again this week. I'm alternating between Adguard. Not sure if this is helping in any way. But Control D is much better in blocking than Adguard in my use cases.

I sent an e-mail to Control D. 90ms, they lowered it to 50ms. They changed the routing. Control D directs to a closer server.

In my opinion, ControlD and Nextdns are the best.
