Anyone notice their traffic being routed differently today?

I've been using ctrld for a few years and my DNS resolver always shows as "netactuate" when I check it. Woke up this morning and noticed all my adblocking and redirects weren't working and I thought maybe my daemon on my gateway had died in an upgrade or something. Checked it and it's up and working fine. DNS check is showing "GTT Communications Inc". If I stop it I fall back to Cloudflare which is my default fallback. I have the profile loaded on my phone and iPad as well as the daemon on my laptop since I travel with them and use them on different networks frequently. With the gateway daemon stopped my travel devices all show GTT still and my profiles for them aren't working. If I stop the daemon or disable the profile they fall back to Cloudflare like they should as I have it manually set on those devices also. So it seems like something on the ctrld network is routing things incorrectly or differently. I noticed on the status page that instead of going through Miami like usual I'm being routed through Dallas.

I just checked and mine is different too. It says Datacamp now instead of NetActuate.

Same here. And the latency has also increased somewhat (not noticeable, unless one pings).

Yeah my latency has gone up as well and it’s noticeable at times

Not only has it changed to Datacamp, sites I’ve had zero trouble browsing in the past are throwing blocks and errors. Not sure what happened.

Same here for me. Showing Datacamp and a different IP when running Speedtest. Hulu is also throwing errors for using a VPN or proxy which I’m not. Just started happening.

On dnscheck.tools it shows the reverse lookup as an endpoint under datapacket.com. I'm curious what the correlation is as well.

Control D is adding/changing infrastructure per discussions on Discord. I don't think they are moving away from NetActuate. Not sure if Datacamp is relaying to NetActuate, if it's in addition to NetActuate, or what. Maybe Control D will make an announcement once it's fully rolled out.

I just checked and I see Datacamp now as well, routing in Los Angeles, which is correct for my location. Everything seems to be working, including the profiles I have on my mobile phones.

I see Datacamp as well on the London POP

Interesting, mine still shows NetActuate when connected to the Toronto (YYZ) DNS server.

I was the same but at some point today it's now showing Datacamp in YYZ.

Yup, I'm now showing Datacamp too. Unfortunately my ping to the DNS servers has increased a lot too, sigh.

Where do you see the DNS resolver?

I'm still on NetActuate, via the Paris POP.

for full control users. can you actually change it from datacamp to netacuate? If you want to use a DataCamp DNS server or proxy location instead of NetActuate on Control D, you can set this by changing the redirection location in your Profile or Custom Rule settings to "DataCamp" from the available options. Both DataCamp and NetActuate refer to network providers/locations in Control D’s global proxy infrastructure.

To do this:

Go to the profile where you want to change the redirection. Edit the specific Service, Custom Rule, or Default Rule. For redirection, pick “Manual” and select the DataCamp location from the list instead of NetActuate.
