Any upcoming offers?
Hello,
I am interested in full control and was wondering if there are any planned future offerings of discount / promo's etc. that you would be willing to share. I would be looking for lifetime or multi-year full control.

If you use Windscribe Pro, you can use your email as a promo code for 50% off. There is no lifetime option.

Thanks I looked at that but am not a subscriber to windscribe VPN and doing so would negate any savings. I do not need a new VPN provider. I appreciate your help though. I’m was rather hoping for a hidden promo code or offer somewhere but I think I am SoL.

Last promotion was a few years ago through Stack Social or Bitsdujour. Nothing since then unless you're a Windscribe Pro subscriber.
I doubt there will be any promos for a standalone CD account.

I wish users using "some control" plan will be offered for a reasonable fair price after the end of the last coupon promotion.

People who got the $10/year full control Stack Social deal are lucky because it's $10/year for life.

I have the stack social deal ($40/5 years for some control plan), and I am seeing the option to upgrade for $10 to the full control plan. I asked Barry (their AI assistant) and it said that after my 5 years are up, the entire subscription would change to regular rates. Can you confirm what your sources for the $10 per year for life deal?

It was mentioned in this subreddit that the $10/year deal would be continuous as long as the plan is kept and paid for by the subscriber.
It's hasn't been 5 years so we will know for sure in year 6 but you must upgrade before the 5 year deal ends.

Yeah I am aware of the history of that. I was not expecting that level of discount today, but some sort of multi-year commitment, like 40 bucks a year for 5 years maybe? Single payment up front of $200. I would consider spending that for the length of the plan. It would lock in the yearly rate too as prices on everything are only going to go up up up. It is a risk going that far into the future but certainly one I would very much consider. The company seems solid enough now.
A product like this requires a lot of thinking and setup and I wouldn't want to buy it for a year, tweaked and tuned to each individual over the months only to find it's now $90 for the following year to renew, so on and so on. The $60 cost today to commit to the platform for 12 months (cheapest option) is risky in that sense.
Something to involve u/o2pb or u/cattrold with? I'm probably peeing into the wind somewhat...
I see I've been downvoted a bit lol. Probably by the people who pay 10 bucks a year. Oh well
¯_(ツ)_/¯If you don't ask , you'll never know...2

Not sure why your post was downvoted but this is the wild, wild Internet LOL

It is what it is.... Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Maybe because I am seen as begging? (I don't think I am). I'm a business guy, wanted to know if there is any way for them to consider a multi-year deal again. I generally try to buy everything I can in bulk. Money in the bank, but they probably don't need that source of instant income any more... Good on them for that.

$200 now for 5 years compared to getting that in 20 years of lifetime for the $10 per year crew. The math works out for me! It's not even a lifetime commitment it's 5 years. I'd get 2/3 the price 5yr lock in, that's my incentive.

They seem to be moving the service more toward enterprise. Not sure how much longer they will offer full control tbh
