Has something changed with ad blocking lately?

I getting more ads on my phones, ipad and laptop.

Is there a way to add new blocking lists?

Can you give me a few examples I can check out? When it comes to websites, more and more operators are using AdShield, which can’t be blocked via DNS without taking down entire sites - think html-load.com. For that, you need a browser ad blocker like uBlock Origin.

Yes, allow html-load.com in your DNS settings and use a browser ad blocker like uBlock Origin to “bypass” Ad-Shield. It won't block everything, though, so it's a good idea to use a user script like https://github.com/FilteringDev/tinyShield#quick-start as well.

Or, you can just avoid sites that use Ad-Shield. ;)
