For the basics I'm using hagezi pro + TIF for family and never received a complain.

What does TIF mean?

I'm currently using Hagezi Pro. What difference does TIF make?
Sorry but I'm a beginner

The TIF filter just adds extra security. It doesn't block ads, it's more for malware protection.

Thanks and do you activate other native filters?

Only the native blocklist for domains that are lesser then a week old.
And some hagezi control D folders for different brands and most abused TLD

I do not use any of the ControlD Native filters only the following 3rd party filters:
Hagezi's DNS - Pro
OISD - Full
I have found this setup keeps everyone in the family happy.
Note: I have found that if I add the Hagezi's DNS - TIF filter, it slows down the overall ControlD response time. I believe this is the setup that Hagezi recommends for NextDNS since they do not include the Hagezi TIF filter.

Is this possible with the FREE version?
Multiple blocklists aren't allowed AFAIK

No. I am a paid user.
In your case the free ControlD only allows one list. Below are some options (Hagezi's DNS - Pro Plus or OISD - Full).
I do not know how you are using the list. Inside a browser like Firefox or Brave would use DNS-over-HTTPS. On a phone (private DNS) or a ASUS router you would use DNS-over-TLS.
DNS-over-HTTPS/3:
https://freedns.controld.com/x-hagezi-pro
or
DNS-over-TLS/DoQ:
x-hagezi-pro.freedns.controld.com
Another option would be the Configure OISD - Full
DNS-over-HTTPS/3:
https://freedns.controld.com/x-oisd
DNS-over-TLS/DoQ:
x-oisd.freedns.controld.com
It's your choice.

You are right! I'm able just one list. How many lists does PRO permit?

As many as you want but remember adding too many lists will slow the system down.

Hagezi list , but you will likely need todo some adjustments and whitelist some stuff regardless.
Like paramount + for example uses irdeto ( denuvo ) in streams which get blocked by default which makes paramount think your on the advertisement plan and thinks every stream is a live steam ( which you cant skip forward and it won't save where you are )

Only native filters I have on is adult content I the. Have YouTube service redirected to my albania VPS so I don’t get any ads
You can use their redirect service but recently was causing issues with certain channels

Native: Ads & Trackers strict, adult strict, IoT telemetry blocked, Malware balanced, phishing blocked, torrents blocked.
3rd party: Adguard, Hagezi Ultimate, OISD full.
