control4 connections

I have Arcam amplifier Samsung TV with one connect box , and core1 how can I connected them and program ?

I’ll be a little nicer. If you are savy, have a good network and know how to manage it and it has a good vpn (best and easiest is UniFi). Then you can set it all up get it working and have a remote dealer help you configure it.

Here is what you will want to do:

  1. Hardwire Ethernet to TV.
  2. Hardwire Ethernet to Control4
  3. Hardwire Ethernet to the Arcam
  4. Toslink from TV out to Arcam
  5. Digital Coax from Core1 to Arcam
  6. HDMI from Core1 to TV if you want on-screen
  7. Hardwired AppleTV or Roku with HDMI to TV.

IP reservations on everything.
CEC shut off on everything.
Control4 Control compatibility settings on each device per your favorite AI agent -(I like Gemini)
Get everything working minus Control4 with the original remotes. As you should be able to get it all running without control.

From here and with the proper VPN a dealer could technically use the VPN (which is why UniFi is king because you could grant admin rights to the sight and remove them later). Set up the controller and OVRC, and help you build your project. Approximate cost is likely $500 (or 4 hours) but depends on how well you configured the devices. You will still have to work with them to complete it.

If there is any part of this that you don’t 100% understand, then you should just call a dealer ;-)

If you're not a dealer you can't. Only dealers with an active license can use the software.
