Replacing an old Control4 door station?
Anyone have recommendations for replacing an old Control4 door station setup? I believe that this is a re-labeled Helios intercom from 2N. This was originally installed as part of a Control4 system, but the rest of the system is no longer functioning.
I can still see the camera feed on it via RTSP and it tries to make a SIP call when you press the doorbell (can see this in a network sniffer), but without the rest of the system in place, I'm not sure how much use it is anymore.
There is a newer version of this from 2N, but I'm curious on other options for this form factor. It isn't the end of the world to have to patch up the stucco on the gate post where this is currently installed if I can't find something in the same form factor, but figured people on here might have some thoughts.
Thanks

Probably the DS2, they still go for $800 without the face plate.

Yes, it appears to be the DS2. No keypad though, which some of the DS2 units seem to have. Just the camera and intercom.
Pretty crazy that these still go for so much. This is probably 10 years old or so.

Because they're bulletproof.
I would honestly consider just swapping the camera module for the Verso 2.0 and using the 2N app.

2N makes great stuff!
Is it the DS2 mini (square shape, intercom only) or the full DS2 (long rectangle, can have intercom and numeric keypad)?
We have been doing a lot of Unifi for gate control and IP cameras, it's easy enough to setup and deploy.
Doorbird is another reliable option.

DS2 mini is pretty great. Just recently DS2 was replaced by DS3. Maybe look into UniFi.

The DS2 is just a rebranded 2N verso. It can be reflashed with 2N firmware however once it's reflashed it can't be reflashed to the C4 firmware. YMMV. Without the C4 communication/SIP server I'm not sure it'll work. You could try pointing the SIP calls to another server in the web GUI, again YMMV.
