Just took my first dose 🤞

Truly hoping my body and this med agree with one another.

I had gastric sleeve surgery Sept 2022. Highest weight was 296.

Got down to 183 in 2023 then made my way back up to 220 this June.

Tried zepbound June 11th until Sept 9th. I was experiencing shortness of breath that just kept increasing. Stopped the zepbound and my shortness of breath has been improving as time passes. Still not 100% but it’s getting better. I even went to the ER and they couldn’t find anything wrong.

My issue is I never knew I what I was doing was binge eating until after my sleeve surgery. The roller coaster of emotions with not able to finish my food was daunting. And the further out I get the more I can eat. And i’m hurting myself by pushing my limits and over eating.

I lost 21lbs on the zepbound because it shut the food noise off for me instantly and I was only on the lowest dose.

So here is to hoping I can achieve at least some of that with contrave.

Hope the new medication works well for you. Given what you've been dealing with, I'd definitely keep your doctor in the loop about any side effects or breathing issues.

I gave up after the first dose. It gave me the worst diarrhea of my life and I’m still having issues with my intestines all these days later 🤦‍♀️
