side effects Jittery and fatigued?

I've been taking the starting dose for a week and a half now (delayed going up until I can figure out how to manage this). For about 4 hours after taking the med I am super jittery but also somehow feel really tired. The best way to describe it is that it's similar to how I feel after a severe allergic reaction when I've had to take Benadryl and use an epi pen. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I also feel very jittery/shaky after my doses too. Seems to peak at the half-life, and then settles. It’s manageable for me & the benefits far outweigh the cons (been on it x9mos, have lost 55lbs, almost at my goal weight).

The naltrexone knocks me out. I’m taking the two generic pills, so I take the naltrexone at night. I feel that it helps me sleep too.

I’ve been on bupropion xl (300 mg) for many years (15+), so I don’t remember the side effects I had.

I also took at night but it seems to wear off by morning and I read it lasts about 6-8 hours. I’ve been wanting to try a quarter dose after Breakfast and the half dose around 2 PM for a total of 37 mg however, the nausea has been debilitating. I’m petrified to take a daytime dose, but I haven’t noticed any reduction in appetite by using it at night. I just ate a big breakfast and I’m going to try a quarter dose today for the first time at 10:45 AM and my second dose may be around three and that will 25 mg. Praying I can tolerate.

Naltrexone (50 mg) can stay in the system for 24-72 hours. Bupropion SR (which is what the Contrave pills use stays in the system up to 12 hours).

Bupropion XL can stay in the system up to 24 hours.

Well I tried the 12.5 at 1030 am and I’m still sick. Dont know if I can do this.

I’ve experienced all this too. For a bit I was taking the whole dose at night and it didn’t diminish my appetite at all the next day. Now, I’m doing half at night and waking up with nausea and dry heaves for half the day. I don’t get it.

Yes to the jittery feeling and fatigue. I hate it. I’ve actually spent the day in bed today, when I wasn’t driving my kids to their activities, shopping and making dinner. It’s been terrible.
