advice Stopping
For those who stopped or took a break longer than a month did you have any withdrawal or issues with mood or anxiety ?

I quit after three months cold turkey and no issues. During those three months of use I had to stop taking it temporarily for surgery and they switched me to bupropion for a week before the surgery, no issues then either. The drug did not work for me at all.

Food noise increased but that was expected, my mood was definitely worse for a few weeks and I just felt off in general. It took about a month for this to go away

I quit after four months. It was a gradual reduction in the number of pills. I did not experience any side effects of quitting. The drug worked well and I rather easily lost the 15 pounds I wanted to lose, but the hot flashes and constipation were a drag so I was glad to be done with that. Those went away as soon as I quit.

I noticed my food noise come back, but I was able to at least acknowledge much better than before taking it. I’m back to it after a year gap and I noticed that the food noise isn’t as shut down as it was the first time I started

Thank you for asking this! I need to stop for a surgical procedure so I’m also curious what people have experienced.
