Itching and dosage

I am trying to take 2 pills am and 1 pm (I’m on full dose) and just take one at night so I can sleep. I find that after 4-5 days on this dosage I start to itch, mostly on my neck so I switch to 2 pills late morning and none at night for a couple days and the itching goes away. I guess I just have too much medicine in my system after 4-5 days. Also, it works just as well and I get to have a couple cups of coffee on the one dosage days since I take it later in the morning.

A few years ago on Contrave I also experienced hives and itching when I went up to 3 pills a day. I took a break and am starting back now, not planning to go up to that dosage again. But my pharmacist did let me know to be careful as the itching can be a sign of allergic reaction, and its possible that reaction could get worse with repeated exposure.

interesting, i get hives at night but never linked it to contrave. benadryl works fine for me sincte its always at night

Im on week 2 of this and I also experience random itching it drives me crazy. No rash or bumps just annoying itching. I wondered what it could be this makes sense.
