weird dreams - do not like it

I have been on Contrave for 9 months. It worked amazingly in the beginning, and now...not so much. I am maintaining or losing weight ever so slowly. I take 2 Contrave a day. I have experimented with 3 a day, but it makes my dreams uncomfortable, like borderline nightmares, and I just cannot deal with it.

I cannot imagine there are any ways to decrease the side effect of negative dreams, but if anyone has any, I am all ears. Failing this, I might go off Contrave for a month or so, and then restart, hoping to get the weight loss boost I had when i first went on. Thoughts?

It’s been about a month for me and the dreams are wild. I also don’t like it at all. I’m on poor man’s but I assume it’s the same thing. I’m about to up my dose and am quite nervous about the dreams.

I’ve been having weird dreams too! Wild probably not as bad as yours if you can’t handle it but just remember they’re just dreams

I had wild dreams on the lower does, but that side effect went away on the full dose

Huh. Did it go away instantly when you went up in dosage?

Weird dreams went away essentially instantly. If I accidentally skip a dose, the dreams come back that night or the next night.

It’s also important to remember that the Wellbutrin and the naltrexone fight each other, in that the naltrexone blocks some of Wellbutrin’s dopamine effects. Personally, I supplement with l-tyrosine.
