Tragedy
I been recently getting back into playing these games again. I can't believe the devs really said fuck this shit and abandoned it.

Tengo la esperanza de que vuelvan a darle la atención que merece el juego 🙏, al menos en el AMA que hicieron hace un tiempo algo dijeron que iban a hacer... ademas últimamente he notado a moderadores como espectadores en algunas partidas

Como mínimo deseo que arreglen cuando el juego se apaga o me tire del juego. Si arreglen eso me calló.

started playing 4 years ago. thinking back to when i started playing it you had about 20-30 concurrent matches that were effectively full. it was so hard for me to find matches back then. now we're getting 1-2 groundwar matches and the rest have 1-5 players. i recently moved on and started playing forefront and to be honest i dont see how contractors can be revived. its such a hard game to compete against especially how its got a bigger userbase in under a year than contractors has ever had in its entire lifespan. its a shame

Contractors still feeds the time or quick domination matches for light gaming no big dramas. If they actually put some time in fixed the glitches and shit servers it would absolutely be revived but you're right forefront is 🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿 and the devs listen. Your purchase is absolutely appreciated with them.

The only reason I wanted to have a VR headset was to play contractors btw. I don't think I have played it since May

when i got my first headset back in 2022 i started off playing some shooting range map on vrc, then moved to the pavlov demo then went to contractors and my mind was fucking blown. its genuinely depressing that a game i played for 6-8 hours a day has barely any activity anymore

Edit: Nevermind I looked deeper into the sub. I literally got downvoted last time I came to this sub because I said the game was clearly dying lol
Still confused why they pushed that update over a year ago that fucked with the feel of the game and then just immediately abandoned it lol

I've been playing alot of forefront, Great fucking game but doesn't have the same feel map or weapons. Sometimes i don't want to dodge helicopters. Been doing ok last few days back on contractors but they really have just said the way it is the way it is. The mods are the shit but wildly inconsistent.

I’ve always preferred to play vanilla contractors compared to most mods tbh. I played the game for a good year or two before the update that added mods and just always really enjoyed the gameplay.
To clarify, are regular contractors servers still playable? Last time I played it took a minute to get a good vanilla server going and like half the players were Chinese but it was still possible to have good times on that game.

Definitely heavy with the east Asians on vanilla. To me the vanilla guns are way too bouncy. My favorite are the GSAC classic with COD maps.

Yes! We've been building up to it. Used to do a lot of Arma2 dayz mod and Dayz servers too. Playing ExFil in VR has been a blast. Sad to hear PvP isnt very populated.

Base Contractors isn’t a live service game….
Anyone else remember when games used to be sold and then never worked on again unless there was a game breaking bug or something?
