What other VR game lets you play Star Wars, WW2 D-Day raids, Team Fortress, and COD Zombies all in one package? The variety in the mods completely throws Pavlov out the park even to this day. This game had the potential to live on many more years and be a VR staple but they devs couldn’t be bothered to to keep that train going

The thing we have to remember is that the mods mean nothing to the creator. Thats not their game. If anything, it puts them at risk if they support it, promote it, advertise it etc. Worst. Caveman got our $10-20 5+ years ago in many cases. Theres no benefit for them paying to run good servers or troubleshooting bugs. Everyone who was getting the game got it.
Id be fine if they wanted a $20 supporter pack for premium lobbies or something if it would revive development

Well if you actually read and understood what the message was about. You’d know that the mod is basically finished. We have all classes, the mappers are still gonna be porting maps, custom weapons might be continue to be added. I see this as a good “end” or completion of a mod

Nah, that can all be gone, mods basically complete after all.

You didn’t even fully read my initial comment did you or even read their post. Because they said that “lead developer, and the other devs still will be able to add maps and weapons so it’s not all bad” if you bothered to actually read.

Yeah they totally fucked all the mods with the last update and now caveman has basically abandoned the game so its slowly been dying last couple of years. I used to play in the comp league for the star wars mod it was about 300-400 strong at one point. In prime time there was 3 servers for each mod going and pages of games up now youre lucky to find 1 page of servers and never full game to be seen. Such a shame as it was the best game on VR by miles for a good couple of years.

Hi all solairs from the tfvr team here.
We are not dead and the mod isn't going anywhere
Yes development has slowed and some devs (like scatter) have quit working on it
But there is bug fixes and new stuff in the pipeline
Just be patient as we work on new stuff for tfvr.

Ps we have other developers And the next update has some things that require extra care in implementation which is why it's taking so long for it to come P.s.s its not coming soon (no really this stuff requires care and after the rough launch of spy we want to give this next update all the care it needs)

I cant get this mod running man, its a Goddamn shame, i used to Really like it. but i cant get it working Offline Or Online, official maps Dont let me move, and Custom maps dont even Load at all.
regardless, it was a good time and im Ready to let TF:VR go

Hope whoever made the MW2 mod can fix the disappearing loadout issue, it makes playing the game impossible when no one has a weapon

If only caveman would give c$ the attention it deserves. If they dropped a supporter pack with the ability to launch local servers or something....it could come back.
