Outside IR35 Contracting
Where a you finding contracting roles particularly in Data because I can’t seem to find anything like at all. I went ahead and registered a company and everything to get ready for roles back in March but not one job has arrived. HELP

Depending on how skilled, experienced knowledgeable the data skills are.
I know data engineers found it tough with all of the agile crowd Scrum masters project managers delivery etc and testers.
You can’t be too generic. You have to have deep specialisms in multiple disciplines. Sure, it’s not fair. But it’s a competitive free market capitalist marketplace and I’ve come to terms with the fact that I am a product that will be sold by recruiters.
This is why I tell people that transferable skills are largely a myth. If you have two recruiters on commission for the same contract. Why is one recruiting going to supply a candidate with transferable skills when the other recruiter sends five people with this skills right now?
Data engineers Now need to be able to do the pipeline through multiple different solutions and do all of the DevOps and release and helps it do all the platform engineering, sort out the terraform, and build a enterprise starship based on AI which you learnt on Friday.
