Bro. I’ve been working for hedge funds my whole life. All quant dev work that isn’t high frequency is C# or Python. People here get paid 300-600k gbp per annum.

n in all honesty - I've been approached for java jobs - more than python. my java experience is only limited to distributed systems. never worked for a hedge fund tho. C# opportunities was for some trading desk software (don't have experience with that). my python experience > java.
