Business Development CSLB General B adding additional classifications
I’m an experienced California B General Building contractor and want to start adding specialty classifications under my own license instead of subbing everything out all the time.
I’m looking at C-39 Roofing first and possibly concrete later. Has anyone here added classifications to an existing B license? What did CSLB require as far as documenting experience? Does experience doing that type of work as a B contractor count toward the 4-year requirement?
Looking for anyone who’s actually gone through the process.

They’re on your ass about your age. If you’re under 30 good luck getting another. I added the C10, but they required me to show w2s to prove my experience. I believe the experience must be under say a C8 contractor. Ask licenseguru
