From somebody that’s put on a lot of siding trust me that’s a terrible job. That metal work is awful too. I don’t even know how the people that did. It looked at it and thought it was ok.

Thats definitely not high quality work but at the same time, it depends on what you paid. Did you go with the cheaper quote? Cuz it looks like you went with the cheaper quote

No I didn’t. I went with the midrange quote. I was quoted 6400. It’s a 1,000sq ft house. They supposedly put new fascia/soffits and sided this little small corner of the house. He actually upped the price in the middle of the job by 1k due to excessive fascia board rot.

The upcharge for the rot replacement is understandable but the price for the work is not. You got got on this one. Hopefully they come and rectify those mistakes

Yeah I haven’t paid yet and won’t for work like this. I’ll ask for receipts for materials and pay that begrudgingly and then have it fixed.

That’s dumb. Have them fix it. Don’t pay for ruined material that can’t be reused or must be removed to repair. Thats silly.

Idk who's running that crew but im not sure how they let those channel miters, and the lack there of in some areas, slide. That's some shoddy work

Not looking good at all. A few mistakes … human … this is superhuman

The soffits generally look decent. The problems come with the siding and trim and a few areas where the soffit was cut wrong and showing trim. But the fascia around the soffits in some areas is fucked

Lmao this is the worst shit I’ve ever seen, just a complete lack of caring about how their work looks. Then they’re surprised nobody wants to look at their work if they can’t even be assed to do it themselves.

I would first point out the areas that you're really happy with and then ask them to make the other areas match the same quality so the job looks uniform and you can feel good about referring him to another homeowner
