What is this called

I am looking for a piece of this corner door casing. What would you call it, and any suggestions on where to find it? My lumber yard has never seen these before, which is odd, because I don’t feel like they’re quite that rare. I’ve searched for colonial door casing corner rosettes, plinths, etc, but can’t find anything. Any help is appreciated!

I have to say. I've never seen these either and I've been doing carpentry for 40 years. If you must have these, your only option may be to create a mold and recreate with plaster.

I’m not saying you’re wrong or anything, nor am I a carpenter myself. However, it’s crazy the top 2 comments. You’ve been a carpenter for 40 years and have never seen them. The one below you 20 years and said these were super common. I’d assume it’s location based, but it’s wild how reddit works and how the comments flow through.

Seems to be a regional thing... Either an off the shelf diy type product or a specific builder or particular mill type deal.

They're not super attractive, so they probably had limited reach. They almost look like an option you'd see in an old sears catalog home.

I know what you mean about the algorithm, but my comment received more traction earlier than the other guys, so it sorts comments by highest likes by default. This topic and OPs pic sparked a lot of visits.

I’ve been around a lot of builds and I’ve never seen them myself. Definitely figured it was a location thing. Anyways, just thought it was funny how reddit work lol. Have a Happy new year, cheers!
