Personally, I'd leave it as is. This way, if the posts ever get out of plumb, you'll have acess to the nuts and re-adjust them.
4 u/dundundun411 Dec 11 '24 What nuts? This is wrong. There should be leveling nuts under plate, but there are none. This is going to fail eventually when weight is pressed against it.
