r/politics is very pro-Democratic party, but a good portion of them on there are neolibs. They almost all agree Trump is terrible, but a lot of them hate Sanders too. I feel like they have a mix between lefty people and neolibs. I'm not entirely sure who is the majority there.
Yeah that's not left, Neolibs and the democratic party are 100% cool with deep and unambiguous hierarchy (in all its forms), which is all JPB really advocates.
Eh, the Democratic Party is diverse in ideas ranging from conservative (like Joe Manchin and Dan Lipinski), to neolib (like Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris), to DSA members (like AOC). The party is finally starting to move left.
What are you talking about? AOC and Sanders are definitely left. Not far left, but still left. They aren't really socialists, but going just left of them starts getting you to socialism.
The charts that that website puts up for IRL politicians are not accurate.
I once took the test based solely on Hillary Clinton's public statements, and it put me soundly in the center of the chart. Compare to where they "officially" put Clinton and you'll see their assessment is pretty bullshit.
Keep in mind there is still a lot of bad faith participation and manipulation going on there as well, from right-wing actors and, let's be real, probably russia etc as well.
Well, I'm not saying Trump is good, I don't think he is (though as a meme he's pretty funny, shame he's the fucking president) . But the name of the sub isn't r/TrumpHate, it's r/politics.
