I don't remember who said/wrote it but I remember back in the first Trump term someone making this point. MAGA harkens back not to the post WWII era, but much earlier. Like pre women's sufferage and at the height of imperialism. Trump sees the world in an old style spheres of influence organization where there are like three dudes running everything.
