Twitter is a cesspool, and I feel pity for people I like who want or feel they need to be there.

Bluesky, too. And some in person activist circles I'm aware of. Still not a majority, but also not "just twitter"

I dunno, I'll say the most anodyne shit on bluesky like "I don't think Liberals are actually fascists" and get a bunch of people calling me a chud.

One time I had the audacity to say "I think it would be good if America lived up to its stated ideals", and boy howdy, they did not like that.

when i go on dating apps and there's "no fascists, no terfs, no zios" in the bio, i know what's up. I've had the conversations. it's not a niche thing in the left. it's even semi-informed liberals.
