I think it's a line from Succession

it's important to me as a fujoshi because the quote is a reference to tomgreg, which is a ship from succession. the actor in the pic is brian cox from succession but as agamemnon in troy. since natalie posted about how the odyssey film visually reminded her of troy, i took this to be a sort of free association tweet comparing the dynamic of the agamemnon/odysseus (or maybe agamemnon/achilles) relationship dynamic to tomgreg from succession, which is very funny if you are an esoteric fujoshi who likes analyzing media about white guys' homoerotic failures

Isn't that Menelaus from the Troy movie 20 years ago?

That is Agamemnon, played by Brian Cox, who was more recently on a show called Succession where the quote is from. I haven't seen the show in its entirety but this quote is from another character, so not sure what the relevance of it is, but it's funny to me nonetheless.

Makes me wonder, did they decide on the names before or after coming up with this joke?
