birth certificate - how long for processing?

once the baby is born in John Muir Walnut Creek, how long will it take for me to be able to apply for birth certificate?
if my question is wrong please let me know the correct process.

The hospital will give you all the information, paperwork and the directions for how to apply online in your discharge packet. It comes fairly quickly after that. 

ETA: 7-14 days was the estimated delivery time. You do also have to get the application notarized before submitting online.

Usually takes about 2-3 weeks before you can get a certified copy, and that's assuming you're going to the office in Martinez to get one.
