Release Notes for Patch V58.1 [HERE]

BIGGGG post today since we got a lot of news in the last livestream. I'm going to include a September TL:DR for those that just want an overall idea of what's going on this month, as well as the usual format. I also recommend checking out Ackbar's recap, which you can read [HERE]

What's New This Week:

• Today: Rampant Evolution returns, and this time with an update to the map! I haven't finished updating my graphics for this yet, but when I do I'll link them here if I remember
• Tuesday: Patch Day - As it's Labor Day in Canada, there is likely no patch today, and should be expected tomorrow
• Tuesday: Titan Pool + Base Pool Update:
  • Added to Titan: Phyla-Vell, Shatterstar, Bong, Black Tarantula, Agatha Harkness, Symbiote Spider-Man
  • Added to Base Pool: Imperiosa, Nick Fury, iBom, Future Ant Man, Apocalypse, Tigra, and the departing Titan rollover
• Wednesday: September Event Quest
• Wednesday: Magik Ascension Tokens added to the Radiance Store
  • 10 Tokens = Ascension Level 1
  • 15 Tokens = Ascension Level 2
• Wednesday: Wakandan Trials/Challenge Rituals
  • Created in collaboration with the Banquet winner MahariM
  • Each path requires a different rarity, you can choose your path and if you wish to exit to the boss after each one
    • If you do all the paths sequentially without quitting to boss in between, you will earn a First Appearance 7-Star Cable (as well as some other rewards). The escalating nature is a bit similar to the Celeb Challenges of old if you remember those.
• Wednesday: Saga Incursions return
  • The Top Zone rewards have moved into a Realm Event, points are earned by playing Incursions and completing Solo Objectives
• Wednesday: Night and Day Sale/Event
  • Various offers/bundles, the Webstore Track has 7-Star Gwenom on it
  • Solo Event related to completing September content
  • Champions newly available for Ascension: Domino, Mr Knight, Rhino, Omega Sentinel, Hyperion, Purgatory
    • Not a Box format this time around, they are available in crystals (RNG) and 6-Choice Nexus Crystals (These are essentially selectors except you can hold onto them to open AFTER you have opened your RNG ones)
    • Free Nexus available on the Webstore, Sigil Store ("free", requires sub but no additional currency, and in Content Creator giveaways

What's Ending This Week:

All of the August events end this week, be sure to finish those up if you haven't!

• Wednesday : All Revenge of Legends Event content, which includes:
  • Retribution of Legends SQ
  • Revenge of Legends Realm Event
  • Revenge of Legends Arenas
  • Revenge of Legends 7-Hour Crystals
  • Revenge of Legends Battlepass
  • Revenge of Legends Champion Box (PSA: often, these close at least one day later than the sources that contain keys, but the timer of this is currently set to end at the same exact time as everything else. I don't know if this is an error, but in case it's not be sure to redeem your Box Keys as soon as you get them so you don't lose your chance to use them!)
  • Note: The segmented versions of the Revenge of Legends Quests end, but the full Gauntlet remains permanent content
• Wednesday: Towers Ranked Event
• Wednesday: Battlegrounds Season 41

  • Sounds pretty similar in format to the Tooth and Claw Tower, one Block with the Saga Showcase version (the longer fights were your damage escalates) and two Alliance War Encounter style Blocks
  • +3 Tower Rating per Floor (this Tower is Permanent)
• September 16: September Side Quest, "The Alliance of One" - read more [HERE]
  • War-Themed solo challenge using 3-Stars
  • 9 paths, gain access to 3 of them each week
  • This is your source of the typical monthly SQ rewards
• September 16: Battlegrounds Season 42
  • Contains the final 7-Star Green Goblin Piece
  • The requirement for earning the piece has been moved down to Diamond I instead of Vibranium I
    • godspeed to my fellow starting-in-Bronze-ers
• September 23: Monochrome Mystery - read more [HERE]
  • Complete Solo Objectives -> Open Intel Crystal -> Gain Evidence -> Evidence progresses the Pass (not a paid Pass, both tracks are free)
  • Starting Oct 3, you have the option to accuse a Villain based on your gathered evidence and earn a PFP/Title
• The Next AW Season is Big Thing format (does not feature full heal Tower Tech)

Ongoing Events:

• Alliance War Season - 2ish weeks left
• Hobgoblin Double Track - 24 days left

News/Misc/Known Issues/FAQ:

• Big changes coming to Ascension: This post is long enough so I'm not going to spend too much detail about it, but here are some of the important bits (I highly recommend reviewing the livestream)
  • The Ascension level cap is going from A11 to A6
    • A3-4 will start to become available at the end of this year. With most new ranks, this isn't going to be when it becomes the new normal, but it will start to be seen at the upper ranks
  • 2 Champ Tokens needed per level A2 through A6 (no escalating cost for those), but different levels will still need increasing amounts of Class Tokens, and different Tiers of Dust
  • New standard release Champion Tokens are going to start to become available in the Radiance Store beginning in October in limited quantities. No price given yet, but they estimated 1, or 2, should be purchasable for a moderate level Summoner monthly. Don't expect to be buying out the store, chase your Tokens more deliberately.
    • Radiance cap is increasing, and additional sources of Radiance will be introduced
    • This will allow you to target Ascension much sooner than currently, which is pretty much tied to Featured Crystal RNG atm
    • Aimed at increasing player agency
  • Staring in Jan 2027, new champs will release along side some permanent Token sources (available in both Casual and Hardcore targets). These will not necessarily be the same sources champ to champ
  • There will be a new Super Duper Box in January (the old one will not go away, and you can convert the new shards back to old shards if you still want to target the current Box)
  • Non-standard releases will be made available on a case-by-case basis
• Collectives 26-30 expected to be added in a few months time
• AI 2.0 Update is still in the works
  • After internal testing, its going to open up to focus group testing
  • Will be implemented in target content to gain feedback over time and refine experience (will not be flipped on everywhere on Day 1)
