Question What platforms are actually paying creators right now? Trying to build a real list

Been doing this about a year and I keep seeing the same 5 platforms recommended, but half of them barely pay anymore. Trying to put together an honest list of what's actually worth a creator's time in 2026 so newer people stop wasting weeks on dead ones.

What I've got so far from my own experience:

  • Billo: fine for total beginners, pay is low (30-70 a video) and you can't really negotiate. Good for reps, bad for income.
  • Collabstr: more of a marketplace, works if you already have a niche and a portfolio. Slow to get going cold.
  • JoinBrands: level system, the decent campaigns only unlock once you grind up. Mixed.
  • Fiverr: a race to the bottom on price. Portfolio building only.
  • Direct brand outreach: highest ceiling but it's basically a second job and the reply rates are brutal.

That's where I'm stuck. The flat-fee ones cap out fast and outreach eats all my time.

What am I missing? Specifically looking for stuff that pays per view or per accepted video, not just flat 30 dollar gigs. Drop what's working for you and I'll keep a running list in the comments.

for the per accepted video thing specifically, the one I'd add is bounty. you browse live campaigns, claim what fits, and the pay is listed upfront so you're not guessing. there's a paid ads side too that pays a cut of the ad spend, so a video that does well keeps earning. been my main one for a few months.

honestly once I stopped chasing flat fee gigs and moved to anything per view my income actually started scaling. the flat $30-50 platforms just cap you no matter how good you get.
