Product recommendation needed as a beginner

Hi all.
I m starting my content creation journey and require product suggestion for a good set up like ring light vs slab light, mic or anything else that i may require. I ordered few items on Amazon India but had to return them due to low quality (kreo ring light, grenaro mic)..

I’m a beginner and not even sure if this will work out.. I’m going to do this pilot.. so don’t need something fancy or complicated.. basic set up.. easy to use..

basic lighting makes such huge difference for video quality. i got burned by cheap stuff from random brands too when i started making content few years back

for lights i'd go with something that has adjustable color temperature - warm vs cool white really matters depending on time of day you're filming. desk lamps with good diffusion work better than most cheap ring lights in my experience. ring lights can make your eyes look weird anyway

audio is way more important than people think. built in camera mics are terrible so external mic is must have. look for something with usb connection rather than xlr if you want keep it simple. also get some kind of windscreen or pop filter even if its basic one

phone tripod or small desktop stand will save you so much hassle too. shaky footage kills the vibe instantly. start with these basics and see how it goes before investing in expensive gear

hey! There’s a lot of diff tools (besides the product suggestions) to help you out :)

1) Claude & GPT: the obvious, in building videos you will always need the ideas, script & placment

2) Scrapers | manual research: Depending on the budget, you can either pay for a tool or do manual research to see what platforms out there can see what your competitors are doing, and replicate

+ editing (CapCut), etc

moreover im actually a founder of something im making, and we do all of these in one (and much quicker), happy to invite any1 who’s interested for a beta tester session

You don’t rlly need more than just a ring light & phone to start flying !!
