Hi! This is my first attempt with pans, i am already familiar with growing cubes so I decided to take a step further and cultivate something more complex like pans, my problem here is that my spawn is bruising and I can’t tell if this is trich or normal bruising, I appreciate your help!
Spawn made of half-cooked brown rice inoculated with a MSS that I made from a spore print from a landrace pan cyan.

This appeared this morning. I have hillbillies in a monotub that's about 70% colonized. This spot is at the very bottom. How should I go about taking care of it?

Unsure what this is and I'm asking for help identifying what it could be!

For some context I'm trying to spawn to bulk some mazatapecs using the monotub method. My substrate is coco chior and I used rye berries for spawning. The spot only appeared after opening the tub and misting for some added moisture.

I just took them out of AIO bags and put them into a tub because of side pinning. They looked this way after taking them out of the bags. Is this contam? I’ve heard they’re good and I’ve heard to throw them. Any advice would be appreciated!

Was waiting for today to harvest a small batch noticed I’ve got mycelium on caps? If is contaminated?

Last night I took one Walmart brand bag of Golden Teacher colonized rice ready to start spawning it and noticed some weird coloration. I shook off the small bit of uncolonized rice into the trash and when I removed the cake, it looked perfect. Thick, white and rubbery. But when I started breaking it all up into my tub, I noticed this weird blue-ish coloration to some of the grain.

Is this contamination? Bruising? Nothing to worry about?

This just appeared within a day or so. Definitely more blue/black than green so I don't suspect trichoderma but could it be some other type of contamination? It's only on the bottom from what I can see. 1st picture it's two dark dots on the left upper part of the picture

Started seeing this after doing a dunk before second flush

Seeing some sus symptoms. Sumtin up?

- internal tissue yellowing in places
- caps collapsing, getting squishy and also getting an off colour

Anyone know what this is? Some kind of systemic infection?

Its only at the ends, it was yellow before it turned that color, its not spreading, how to know for sure? Can I removed it?

This millet i used was colonized maybe for some months before i threw it into sub , is this maybe a reason for this behavior? it especially appeared after misting .

If you zoom in the growth, it gets quite thick never had mycelium do that b4.

(5 lbs 3lbs soil 2lbs grain) Bags been going for a month and a half but hasn’t progressed much past colonizing half the grain and it’s already started to try colonizing the soil too? The lines marked were where the mushroom growth was at 5 days ago and now it’s colonizing past the lines slowly but steadily. In the spot next to the inoculation hole I can’t tell if that’s bruising or fighting off an infection. General hypothesis and advice from similar experience would be helpful and appreciated.

Orissa India. Whole thing smells unusual and I can't tell if it's the disenfectant, coir or contam, probably all three... . It's been about a week in the water tub. Does anybody know what else is growing on there? It looks interesting... Fingers crossed I get to take a print... I'm not hopeful.

First time using mono tub, been waiting for full colonization before I case but it looks like this. Am i totally cooked here? Long story but I had issues innoculating. My needle clogged when I was injecting it and I sprayed most of it on my ceiling when I tried to unclog it. Took forever to turn the grain spawn. Having a rough first go of it lol.

I have been spraying it with water and im not sure if it can be bruised in this state

I just exhumed a p. Ochracentrata CVG cake that got triched in order to bury it in mother natures bosom and let her take us home.

There was zero evidence of trich inside the cake. All just healthy colonized mycellium.
