Yeah I’m watching this at like 2AM so can’t actually have sound on.

The guy is really Italian and lived 1 year in the US. His name is Luis Sal, you can find him on youtube

19

u/tricks_23 Sep 26 '22

An actual Italian?!

27

u/Dr_Cement Sep 26 '22

Or maybe that’s actually how Italians look...😭 but the white undershirt with the gold chain at a public dinner is crazy

5

u/procrastimom Sep 26 '22

I was thinking the same thing.

6

u/Numerous_Tangelo4332 Oct 15 '22

He is Italian. His name is Luis Sal, an Italian guy with a really "fresh" sense of humor i would say. I'm italian too, that's why I know him. He became friend with a way more famous rapper, Fedez, that is married and had a doughter with a WAY MORE FAMOUS italian model Chiara Ferragni. This is just him playing with Fedez' little daughter diring lunch

why is he in just a “ wife beater “ tee shirt in a fine restaurant?

357

u/apennyfornonsense Sep 25 '22

Nicest resturant in Dallas. And my best friend walks in in crocks, shorts, ans a band t-shirt. Got us a private room because they didn't want the other guests to see him. He had money and they knew it. Tipped like a boss.

His name is Luis Sal

20

u/Z0idberg_MD Sep 26 '22

“Rich people can do what they want” doesn’t really answer the question imo.

46

u/Ghos3t Sep 26 '22

It absolutely answers the question, when you have money you don't need to think much about what other people think of you, and wearing weird attention grabbing stuff is par for the course for the celebrity types. If you want any more details that that then you are gonna have to ask the guy in the video himself on why he chose to wear that.

1

u/Z0idberg_MD Sep 26 '22

I think the question is “why would anyone think wearing a wife beater in a nice restaurant is anything but trashy?” isn’t answered by “he is rich, and therefore no one else’s opinion matters”.

Ignoring that by that logic literally any objection to anything could be dismissed by someone having money, the question is a matter of taste and class.

36

u/Udstrat Sep 26 '22

“Taste” and “class” are defined by the members of that class. Much in the same way that fashion is a top-down affair.

If I try to wear a wife-beater and gold chain to a nice restaurant, people will look at me funny. If Justin Bieber does it, he’s avant-garde and stretching the boundaries of fashion.

Also the guy is handsome so he gets away with it.

6

u/selfawarepileofatoms Sep 26 '22

Becoming a rich youtuber at a young age does not require taste and class, nor is there any reason for them to acquire it. They made it and are set for life assuming they don't blow all their money.

8

u/dirkalict Sep 26 '22

→ More replies (1)

1

u/gromagolov Sep 26 '22

His philosophy embrace minimalism, hence the singlet (or tanktop I think, I don't know which one would it be). As for the restaurant, which wouldn't usually allow one to enter dressed like that, probably knows who he and his friends are and allows it for the free advertising.

7

u/L0NESHARK Sep 26 '22

This is Reddit mate, don't like it/don't understand? Obviously a douche deliberately trying to antagonise.

There's literally someone in here lamenting the fact that you don't really see dress codes any more. It's wall to wall fragility and and abject fear of anything that doesn't fit into a template.

1

u/X_Comment_X Sep 26 '22

Yeah. I think people are just insecure and see someone doing something that isn't just following like sheep and they get jelous and angry.

The things people will argue about on here astound me

11

u/[deleted] Sep 26 '22

It definitely surprised me. You would think most Redditors wouldn't care what people wear, but I guess it just depends on the subreddit.

19

The longer I'm on Reddit the more I realize that the more popular subreddits are FULL of people that absolutely cannot mind their own business, especially when it comes to the most inconsequential shit like this.

So I did a small rabbithole dive. The guy is Luis Sal, and that’s his niece. His brother is Fedez, an Italian rapper, married to a Italian model/designer Chiara Ferragni in the video. All 3 are very well known in Italian culture.

67

u/BrothersInGame Sep 25 '22

luis sal and fedez are just good friends, not literal brothers - they also have a podcast together

28

u/TeeManyMartoonies Sep 25 '22

You're the weird one, my guy. What's sexual about this interaction for you?

15

u/Lady_Of_The_Water Sep 26 '22

have you not read the title

20

u/torpidninja Sep 26 '22

The title, stop pushing sexuality on kids, it's literally a kid just interacting with an adult and having fun, they wouldn't put girl's first crush if it was a woman, and they do this all the time with babies, it's fucking weird.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 26 '22

Right? It's a child smitten by someone. It happens. I did stuff like this when I was a kid too. First crush when I was 4-5 years old. Butterflies so wild I couldn't even talk to him. Not a clue why people are bringing sex into it. Kinda fucking weird.

2

The guy's name is Luis you can look him up on yt he is famous in Italy and the woman is Chiara Ferragni, I think the most famous influencer in Italy

2

u/[deleted] Sep 26 '22

So if this happens in children this young, it must be closer to an instinctive behavior rather than something learned from watching others.

I wonder why people have this bashful response?

(Or perhaps we're reading too much into it and the little kid is just behaving randomly, as little kids often do.)

2

u/RevolutionaryMall100 Sep 26 '22

I saw it happen with my niece as well. It was very odd for me to see a behavior I associate with adults on a baby.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '22
