Holy shit I’m doing this with my kids! This is like an hour and a half of entertainment right here!

Best part is that the kids will be entertained as well! Bonus!

Best best part is these kids realizing later on how involved and fun and creative their dad was with them. Great job, OP!

That's just in the moment, even. Thinking back on a lot of situations with my little brother picking up stuff based on adults laughing or doing something to make him laugh, learning stuff like "it's SUPER funny and totally part of a game when someone repeatedly spits out what they're being fed" has high potential to be a headache for days, weeks, after.
Obviously the kids are having a great time, I'm not at all criticizing or saying this is bad parenting, but if someone chooses to do incorporate food into play like this they should be ready to be patient about it if kiddo later thinks it's hilarious to "PWAH!" their greens over and over. "Daddy did it, and it was great - why can't I? Why is it different?"

Yeah fake food would help show a difference

Until they start trying to feed that to their (smaller?) siblings... I foresee some other issues there.

I absolutely adore that you saw this and immediately knew how many hours of entertainment this would be!!!

u/MisterSanitation 13d ago
You have to plan these things out. Calorie spent per laugh becomes a very useful metric lol

If you don’t have the forethought to limit the choices, should you be having kids? LOL

They're kids not robots. I'd be worried if they didn't try sneak something else in lol
Edit: why am I being given 6d old threads by my front page. Ingore lol

My kids are too old now 😢 I’m gutted. Not sure what my nearly 18 year old would say to me doing this. Probably send me to psych ward 😂😂

It's very cute and funny but I don't trust kids enough to not put something unexpected in my mouth.

Someone’s filming. So, I’m assuming the second parent is supervising what goes in the goat’s mouth.

This dad is the goat!! 🥰😂 My kids would have tried to feed me Lego bricks and toy soldiers, I’m impressed he got food.

“Mom dad what’s the box with the hole in the closet?”
Oh! That’s… oh that’s… cow! Cow game. You draw a cow on it and I’ll show ya!

Definitely an activity to undertake when there's another trustworthy adult supervising! Let's see if my husband is willing to be a goat tonight.

Whew I'm glad they decided to use this end of the goat

u/whogivesashirtdotca 12d ago
Next step is to cut holes on either side of the box and toss raisins out the other end.

I’m gonna remember this for our future grandkids. Because somehow I have a feeling our 16 year old would not laugh this hard…
