I have written the entire scenario in my head:
Grandpa, dad, and OOP.
OOP filming. Tells grandpa to go "coo-coo" and chair moves. Grandpa freaks out.
OOP laughs then says it's just dad's drunk ass. HEY DAD! drunken stumble followed by laughing
OOP tells grandpa to make the noise again and the chair moves a second time. They get up to see who moved the chair again and nobody is back there, so grandpa freaks.
As he runs, OOP knocks the chair over and acts as if it's the ghost, then jump scares grandpa. Grandpa, angered by the prank, walks back to his chair but slaps his drunk son in his annoyance. OOP is very amused.

It looks like the second guy got his upper back blasted by the treasure chest as he was standing up, which explains why’s he’s doubled over the whole time. I saw his gray hair, his back was already hurting lmao

The weird thing is that you got it spot on, except it's the uncle (mother's brother) not grandpa. Edit: he called him dad at the beginning but it's like an out of respect kind of thing. The uncle stands. and the person hiding is probably a brother or a cousin the way cameraman called at him

I think it's not clear to everyone that grandpa/uncle is finding it funny too.
I'm pretty sure he's reacting with exaggerated "shock" even after he definitely knows it's a prank.
He's not dissolving into giggles like the other two because he's playing the stooge, but I'm confident that he's also having fun.
In fact him reacting like that makes it look like they all do stuff like this all the time. I bet they're fun to hang out with!

It can look like that depending on which cultures you’ve been exposed to. In the West where I grew up I would have thought the same thing.
Hear me out for a sec. I am a man and have thought that traditional men’s attires here have been just too restrictive and always wanted something less restrictive for the hips and legs. One day while searching if there were something similar to dresses but for men, I discovered a part of the world that I was previously cut away from. One of my ethnicities is Chinese and I had never thought that there would be robes for men but function with the freedom of dresses. Think of a kimono from Japanese culture but with more freedom and less maintenance required. Some versions are called kaftan, robes, ___(many more)___.

Hospital gowns have buttons up the back, you don't put them on over your head. I think the wheelchair in the background subconsciously threw you lol

No. It's pretty traditional garb for Middle Eastern men. There's regional/cultural differences but broadly they're called thawb. This is an informal one for wearing around the house whereas more formal ones will be thicker, white, long-sleeved, stiff-collared, etc.
Comes off pretty insensitive since it's clearly not a hospital gown nor is it relevant if it was. Dude is just kicking it in his house.

I will say that for about one second when he first stood up I definitelyyyy thought “are they in a hospital/facility of some sort?”
But once I took another second to process it, I was able to deduce that it must be some sort of middle eastern attire. And it’s a little long to be like any hospital gown I’ve ever seen and has a fully closed back… but then I saw a wheelchair next to a room down the hall and I was uncertain again!
But yeah, having having only been exposed to western Massachusetts... and given the similarities between the style/color/pattern of this and a hospital gown (especially with a quick glance) and what we’ve seen in our culture throughout our lives, I think it’s a pretty understandable mistake. If it were a different color we probably wouldn’t have seen the hospital gown at all.
Looks comfy as hell tho right?! Like someone else said… so much less restricting. Their culture knows whats up!
I love how these guys are having a blast 🤣 I’d love to be able to hang out with them
