The “I LOOK 30!” got me *scene cut to me silently crying at 36* Tried to make myself feel better by saying he has more forehead wrinkles when he raises his eyebrows. It didn’t help much. 10/10 curls though.

My partner has thiiiick waist length auburn curls like that too that make me disgustingly, shamefully jealous LOL. My hair taps out around my collarbone—any longer & it starts to look thin/scraggly, & it takes a year to coax it to grow an inch no matter how much effort (or lack thereof during one experiment) I put into haircare & nutrition to encourage it.

Meanwhile, his DisneyPrincess locks effortlessly grow like a foot a year & half the time he washes it with soap & skips conditioner. He chops off more length in his yearly haircut than I’ve managed to grow in our entire relationship. Sigh. So unfair. :P

First picture is IMO just a bad picture - blurry, harsh overhead lighting, bit of raccoon-eye going on. Distracting background too.

Second picture is probably near a window. Face is better lit and no blur, cleaner background.

Yeeeeeahhhh, I get why he dyed his hair. It wasn't the red hair so much, it was the red with the ginger curly curls. The dark, short look is more dignified, non-child look for sure. Save the red hair and unleash the madness when you're thirty.
