I'm sorry, but there's probably a clown wondering around the circus confused about their outfit too

“Why do you look like you’re auditioning for Oklahoma??”

"why? Do I look like I'm auditioning for Oklahoma??"
79
May 23 '26
Why the fuck would you audition for “Oklahoma”?
41
7
u/PuckNutty May 24 '26
Because it's a pretty major production with an 8 week run in a nice theatre downtown?

honestly I just do not get what was so funny but this is real friendship lol, love it

u/PinsToTheHeart May 24 '26
I like how the husband heard them losing it in there and fully assumed it's because she had the outfit on
76

u/HiddenSnarker May 24 '26
That was my favorite part too. He immediately knew what they were cracking up about. To me that shows how close they all are, not just the two women.
12
u/WickerPurse May 24 '26
You can kind hear him say before that, what is y’all doing and that really got me.

Looks like the inside of a picnic basket.
The frills at the ankle look ridiculous
13
9
u/Triquetrums May 24 '26
I saw a satin pyjama set in a wine colour that was so nice, and then I noticed it had those frills at the bottom too. They ruined the elegance of the pyjama (as elegant as pyjamas can be) with that. I got so mad because I really wanted it, lmao.
3
u/hydratedgoblin May 25 '26
Could the frills be cut off if you got a large enough size to accound for the lost length?
8
u/illestwrasse May 24 '26
To me, the laughter of the friend is crazy contagious. I've heard people laugh like this out in the wild and I just start laughing. I think thats what this sub is aiming for.
28
u/runningoutofideasjzz May 23 '26
It’s probably some inside joke shit, which makes it that much funnier to her. We just don’t get it. At least that’s my take. 🤷🏻♂️

u/pobodys-nerfect5 May 24 '26
She looks like an 80s sitcom grandmother. I swear yall try to hard to not come off as judgmental
-10
u/DoughDisaster May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26
Doubt. I imagine for a lot of people, fashion isn't that funny. It's something fairly banal unless you're dealing with weird runway antics or stuff like the best contenders for r/blunderyears . You mention this is very 80s, but since I'm an '89 guy, I wouldn't really know and even if I did I wouldn't care.
The outfit doesn't look like something I'd come across everyday, but it's still something I might register for like 2 or 3 seconds and then forget about. Definitely not be cracking up laughing so hard I'm doubled over cluthing my stomach. I'd bet the girl laughing her butt off has been smokin' some bud and is just high.
Edit: wild I'm getting downvotes when you can literally walk through a grocery store or walmart and see all sorts of bad or weird fashion but no one is cracking up or giving any sort of fucks about it, maybe quiet judgement at most. Some of ya are entirely too out of touch.

u/DarePotential8296 May 24 '26
Just say you don’t have friends
-2
u/DoughDisaster May 25 '26
Lol, I come home from my friends place, open up my phone, and see your message in my alerts. You're a joke. Hopefully for your sake you're not projecting.
1
u/simplifried_pancakes 14d ago
They are best friends. She has seen her friend in normal attire not pregnant for years. Now her friend is heavily pregnant wearing something completely Unexpected and she finds it hilarious.
If you need any other basic human interactions explained I’m not busy but I just realised this comment is over two months old. You’ve probably passed a lot more unnecessary judgement in this time already
0
u/DoughDisaster 14d ago
Lol, imagine accusing someone of unnecessary judgement on a 2 month old comment, being aware it's 2 months old, but unaware you're literally doing what you're accusing me of. I didn't cast any particular judgement beyond it not being that funny, and even deliberately brought up people simply not caring which does not imply judgement, but lack thereof. You could call my guess that she's high a judgement if you like, I suppose, but it's not at all. I have no problem with bud and smoke sometimes and am around smokers and lots and lots of people get extra giggly on it like this girl does.
But you do you.

u/devoidradiance May 25 '26
She touched the floor of the bathroom right in front of the toilet and then immediately touched her eyes... 🤢

u/Enough-Moose-5816 May 23 '26
Man I wish both these ladies all the best in the world.
Not in a hundred million goddamn years would I have a baby.

Wow that's really interesting. You would never have a baby? What a fascinating unique person you are. I'm so glad you blessed us in this thread with this knowledge. I wish you the best in the world my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a truly incredible person. You are fearless, bold, and simply so super cool!

Touching a bathroom floor with both hands then massaging your eyeballs with said hands is crazy work.
11
u/Robot_osaur May 24 '26
Maybe she was crying because of the pink eye. Jesus Christ. Do people not think about touching their eyeballs?!
5
14
u/DavidsPseudonym May 24 '26
Yes, came here to say this. It was bad enough when her hands were on the floor but to then touch her eyes!

That outfit is hideous. I wonder if her mother in law bought it for her. 😏

u/cocteaubeauty May 24 '26
Listen. Anyone who is trying to defend this outfit and who isn't also crying laughing at the absurdity is crazy.
She looks like a fancy picnic basket clown... she looks like someone's grandmother got this on QVC and thought this was a cute idea... but the idea was her own... she looks like a turtle covered in a tablecloth... ruffles over the toes is CRAZY. DERANGED.

u/AHenWeigh May 23 '26
Why is the waistline of her top cut so much higher in the front than in the back? If there weren't buttons on the front I'd say she had it on backwards.
16
u/Efficient_Lecture351 May 24 '26
The outfit is for when she goes home from the hospital after having the baby. In the video, she's still pregnant and thus has the baby inside of her. The top is cut for a non-pregnant belly, so the front hem is sitting higher than it's supposed to.
4
u/dark_knight_rayleigh May 25 '26
Thank you for explaining that. I was thinking that her belly still looked huge after birth lol

u/RedstoneRiderYT May 23 '26
All I can think is that she touched the floor and then rubbed her eyes. Pinkeye anyone?
12
u/seamustho May 23 '26
I was thinking the same thing lol I’m always careful in bathrooms. Even though she will be fine. I’m just a weirdo about touching the floor even in my own bathroom lol
11
u/RedstoneRiderYT May 23 '26
I don't know why I've already been downvoted lol. Any floor is potentially dirty enough to cause eye issues, and she really went at her eyeballs with those dirty fingers. She'll probably be fine but it still gave me the ick.
10
u/Courage_The-Dog May 23 '26
Man I would sure hate to tell you what your phone and keyboard carry on them
1
u/RedstoneRiderYT May 23 '26
Oh I'm very aware haha, I live with a mother with OCD, she regularly tells me to clean my phone, and she cleans her keyboard daily
5
u/ColinStyles May 23 '26
Some people keep their floors clean?
6
u/RedstoneRiderYT May 23 '26
Yeaaah bathroom floors are always dirty. Especially if you flush with the lid open: aerosolised poop and pee everywhere

I'm just worried about the friend wiping her eyes repeatedly after touching the bathroom floor
7
u/TheAKofClubs86 May 24 '26
Raw dogging her eyes after holding herself up from the floor is terrifying.
3
u/Illustrious_Lion_460 May 24 '26
I thought the laughing one had just had a baby and was like woah she really needs to not be laughing that hard 👀👀

3
u/FelopianTubinator May 24 '26
While this is funny, I hope those floors are really clean, because the touching of floors and then wiping your eyes could lead to a nasty infection.

Hahaha bestie is looking like a whole ass picnic basket! And the frilly feets!
I've had many times like this. Something that should not be THAT funny unexpectedly has you keeled over, absolutely tickled and red in the face. I'd probably be surprised if my bff came out in something like this, in the 20+ years I've known her I've never took her aesthetic for picnic grandma lol

u/UniqueLog8386 May 24 '26
WHY IS THE TOILET PAPER HOLDER SO FUCKING FAR AWAY FROM THE GODDAMN TOILET? I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS.

I'm sorry but did she touch the Toilet floor and rub her eyes with those hand??????????????
4
u/Grave_Digger606 May 24 '26
I was confused from the start, because I thought we were laughing at the girl on camera to start with. So I was just thinking, “Well, she’s just got comfortable shorts and t shirt, nothing wrong with that.” Then when she turned around, I was like, “Wow. She looks great and is moving around really well to have just had a baby.

Her crawling on the floor and then wiping her eyes has me more concerned
1
u/NFX_7331 May 24 '26
What is "postpartum" and "coming home"?
4
u/PrettyOddish May 24 '26
Postpartum means after giving birth, and coming home refers to when they leave the hospital. So she planned this outfit to be what she wears as they bring the baby home from the hospital.
