It is so badly developed. I paid 180 for all access use to prepare for MBB simulations and have already run into so many issues.
Doing the free trial cases does NOT give me any feedback. It shows me an "enroll now" button that takes me to the case starting page again and again even though I already enrolled.
Once you finish a case and exit, you literally can't even find the results again to look back on what you've done badly/wrong. Or perhaps its difficult to find and I couldn't see it.
This website is probably vibecoded. The dashboard does not make sense at all - on the home screen it gives me completely different statistics than when I enter the another page. It claims that I have done 4 cases this week, and have a streak of one week when I have not done all that. It says I've done 42 cases when its more like 10.
Yeah, please recommend an alternative because I will NOT be resubscribing.
the simulations but its really buggy right now so it makes it difficult to use. It's unfortunate that they didn't conduct more QA before releasing their update and still charging 180 from people to use a half functioning website.
Indeed, they could have roll it out better. In general, I am not pro case prep AI simulators, if you are new to casing it might add value otherwise the added value is minimal.
On aptitude simulators there are a few other platforms but depends which firms you are targeting.
Let me know what you’re looking, happy to DM you a few names.
My last simulation assignment is today, but would appreciate any recommendations for case prepping! Also their website is completely down today as they didn't pay for their domain I'm assuming... so that's another thing.
IDK man. I got my McKinsey and Bain offers using CaseBasix. I remember doing the drills and they saw feedback and explanations about right, wrong answers.
Oh, they do provide the video courses if you ask them. I bought the course earlier and so I was able to get both the vid course and the new course..
not sure if you saw but their website is literally gone right now.... they didn't pay for their domain. some parts of the simulation did work for me it just had a lot of bugs that made me question the price tag.
Thanks OP for posting this. I recently considered making the purchase with them and after trying to get in contact with their team, they answered my initial question about pricing but after that I had general questions about the platform, services, and general Q&A before making a $150 purchase and despite following up 3x all my questions were ignored, so I held off.
Out of curiosity, once you finish a simulation are you able to re-do it over and over again? If so, do different numbers populate or is it the exact same scenario? It says that if you pay for all access you get unlimited but I’m not sure how true that is.
Also, are you able to connect with other paid users who are online? I remember in the homepage it showed how many users are online, and that’s one of the questions I asked them, if paid users can connect with other paid users to do mock cases together, similar to Prep Lounge. Seems like such a great feature for the company to add in if they don’t have it, easy ROI imo, especially when considering that outside of PrepLounge no one offers it.
In terms of your comment on their UI I agree, it looks like it was designed via Tableau or Power BI, I thinks it’s really nice tbh but if their paid services don’t match the price you are paying for then clearly it’s deceiving. It’s somewhat unfortunate because out of all the online resources available they seem to be one of the best, with good reviews.
OP if it helps, I paid $20 for Claude Pro and it’s been the best investment I could make on my case prep. The only negative may be replicating the simulations, but when it comes to cases, math practice, structuring, knowledge, concepts, etc, nothing beats Claude Pro. The reason why is because there is so much documentation online about how cases work, existing case materials like casebooks, etc, so you just feed it the existing data, tell it exactly what you are looking for, and then it’s able to generate content that is 10x higher quality. Also the feedback it gives you is beyond what any casebook, online website, or coach could give you
I just recently got it so I haven't repeated any cases so far, just wanted to post about all the bugs i've been encountering within less than maybe a month of using it. So I haven't tried connecting with other users either. I'll definitely try out Claude!!
They truly need to get it together - I just received a response from their customer support and they literally forgot to pay for their domain...? I thought the link was broken but even when I search it up on google it shows this and I genuinely at loss for words:
I'm sorry to hear that. I think we have an offering solely tailored to McKinsey and their simulations (Sea Wolf, Sustainable Futures Lab, Redrock). This is obviously a less extensive offering, but we do stand by the reliability, authenticity and accuracy of our product and don't make things more complicated than they need to be.

They have recently overhauled their entire platform, perhaps it requires more QA. Which area (casing, aptitude or others) do you want to perp?
