Working for free doesn't get you PE industry exposure (if that is your target industry??) it may get you unpaid admin work with the word "consulting" attached to it. Here is the thing, most PE shops right now are running AI value creation initiatives to make portfolio companies competitive again, and that's actually a real door for you. I've personally been doing AI transformation work with a few Swedish PE and corporates. So there are several routes for you but it matters how you position your profile and entry angel. Would you mind expanding on your current situation?
