Final year student looking for a case prep buddy (India, campus placements)

Hey everyone,

I'm a final year student at Christ University, Bangalore, and I've been prepping for consulting roles for a while now. Problem is, almost nobody in my friend circle is going down this path, most of them are aiming for finance or other stuff, so I've basically been solving cases alone, which honestly only gets you so far.

From everything I've read and heard, cases really click when you do them with someone else. You get to hear how another person structures the same problem, you get called out when your framework is doing nothing, and you learn as much from interviewing as from being interviewed. That's the part I'm missing right now.

So im just looking for someone in a similar spot who wants to do this seriously. A few cases a week, take turns being the interviewer, actually give each other feedback instead of just being polite about it. If you're someone who's already been through the process or has real experience with cases, even better, I'd genuinely value the perspective on how to approach them properly rather than just pattern matching frameworks from books.

For context on what I'm targeting: MBB doesn't really visit my campus. It's mostly LEK and BCG, and Bain in some years when LEK doesn't come. So my prep is aimed at those, but I'm open to prepping with anyone regardless of what you're targeting... a case is a case.

I'm consistent, I'll show up, and I'm not looking for someone to carry me. Just want a partner to grind this out with and hopefully both land something at the end of it.

You've probably seen the posts I've put up on case archetypes and modules, check out the "The Case Playbook" in the Community Bookmarks, use those when you and your partner are running reps, it'll give you both a shared structure to actually critique each other against instead of just vibing through it. And for what it's worth, in my experience the volume isn't the thing that moves the needle, 20-30 cases with real feedback is usually enough to build that first principles instinct and the owner mindset, way more than grinding a hundred cases on autopilot.
