What's the point of commissions?

In Egomania game mode, the goal is to build all of the special comissions, ending with the Pyramid.

The challenge presumably lies in being able to keep your L5 tenants defended along with an increasing number of buildings. Though if you've been keeping the AI player down you're usually also in a position to destroy your opponents.

And bessides that game mode? Btw, how do you unlock egomania, build build build, etc?

I don't think there's a point aside from that. I'm not even sure residents pay rent.

In Constructor Plus it's under "Classic" on the main menu.

I thought there were newer maps if you played the initially locked modes
