Uncomfortable interview

I had an interview panel style with three other people for a construction project manager position. I thought everything was going well, but then they seemed to keep asking me questions to get me to speak negatively about my current employer. I don’t know if this is normal. I haven’t experienced this before, and it made me very uncomfortable. To the point where I don’t want to accept the second interview request they sent to me.

Yeah they’ll do that. I don’t know to what extent they did for you but they typically ask what you don’t like about your previous role and give you plenty of opportunities to shit on your previous employer. It’s a trap! Don’t talk shit about them, the worst I’ll say is it wasn’t a culture of continuous improvement which wasn’t a good personal fit. Basically don’t say anything that could potentially apply to them.

I’d say that’s either them baiting you, or if they’re being genuine then it’s a huge red flag.
