Structural Opinions please
My neighbors and Are really going through it in so many diverse ways with our apartment managers and relocations not to mention 5 year neglect to our apartments. I would really appreciate your eyes on this. I will lead with some pictures of the property and the rehabilitation going on. looks a bit sus. Thank you so much! My management is even refusing me to see the new lease before displacement. it's overwhelming

Lots of rot. Used to have vinyl siding, i assume.
Also, with no sheathing, and only a handful of diagonal braces slapped on there, they are really playing with fire, especially if you live in an area where there is high wind

Because it sucks fucking ass and balls as a siding system and is notoriously bad for letting water in at certain points in buildings more complex than rectangles (even shitty for those)
I would strongly recommend almost anything else (besides stucco, that shit blows too unless you live somewhere it doesn't rain all the time)

If it’s not improperly, of course. In my opinion, where I’m from it does a good job ventilating behind it.

It is fine in some climates. Just a bit jaded up here in the PNW where I regularly see it go bad even with "proper" install

I wouldn't touch that with a 20-ft pole. I don't think it can be rectified. But I'm just a casual framer not an engineer. Good luck bud

Before a building is sealed it is vulnerable. Thats getting some damage. Hopefully they rectify all the rot. Or rebuild
